This past month we had an awesome week of Vacation Bible School. Once again our church family offered a great experience for the children of our church and community. Many people in our church helped put on a great event which included wonderful decorations, delicious meals, inspiring music, great Bible lessons, fun games and interesting crafts. When I saw all the work that was done for this event and saw the children looking forward to coming each night, I was very proud of our church family.
Most of my Vacation Bible School week was sharing our Vacation Bible School songs with the children. There are two that I would like to share with all of you. Our theme song was “Wild About Us!” and some of the words are:
God is wild about you! He loves you so much! God showed His love in the gift of His Son, Jesus! God continues to show His love through always being with you through His Holy Spirit and for having a great plan and purpose for your life that you experience when you put your faith in Him!
The other song I want to share is called “Watching Over You”. The chorus to the song is:
God is always watching over you. God does have big plans for your life. Your life is eventually in His hands since at your death God will judge where you spend eternity. But for now, I’d like to ask you the question, “Is your life in God’s hands”? God lets you make that choice in the here and now. Is your life in God’s hands? Do you give your life to God who loves you more than anything? Do you love God who is always here for you and always cares for you? Do you put your faith in God and live the great big plans God has for you? Do you do the things God wants you to do?
May you always know that God is wild about you. May you be wild about Him and show it in all you do!
In Christ’s love and service,

Olivet offers a traditional Moravian style service on Sunday Morning at 11:00 AM. Using hymns and liturgies from the Moravian Book of Worship the worshiper is led to a point when the children have a special time with the pastor and then a Gospel Sermon is preached by the Pastor or the Pastoral Assistant.
Communion is offered some eight times during the year, and all professing Christians are welcome to participate.
